Valve World Asia 2013 Review

Paladon Systems smart valve partial stroke test system generates significant interest at Valve World Asia 2013

On 11th and 12th September Paladon Systems co-exhibited with their Chinese business partner, Beijing Safewell Technology in Suzhou, China. On display was a Paladon Systems self-contained electro-hydraulic partial valve stroke testing system using the smart PST Controller.

Paladon Systems Vice President – Sales Asia Pacific Region Anba Nagappan, “This is the first time we have exhibited our valve automation technology in China and we were pleased to see the significant interest that it generated. Our self-contained electro-hydraulic systems provide operators with many additional operational benefits and reduced environmental impact when compared to most traditional valve automation technologies. The addition of the PST Controller to the demonstration unit to provide smart partial valve stroke testing was of particular interest to visitors to our booth. Many visitors were not aware of how far this technology has been developed or how it helps ensure maximum process uptime and safety. On a personal note, I would like to give my thanks to our Chinese business partner Beijing Safewell for their invaluable support and hospitality during the exhibition. They are clearly well respected in China and well placed to help introduce Paladon Systems technology to the Chinese market.”

Beijing Safewell Technology Commercial Manager Jenny Hu, “The fully functional demonstration unit made it extremely easy for us to show our clients the benefits that this technology can bring to their operations and generated a lot of positive publicity for the Beijing Safewell/Paladon Systems partnership. We consider this first exhibition together an unqualified success and look forward to showcasing other Paladon Systems valve automation technologies at future exhibitions.”
