Paladon Systems to supply electro-hydraulic systems for Gazprom's South Stream pipeline project
Paladon Systems has been awarded an order from PetrolValves for the supply of 20 ultra-low temperature self-contained electro-hydraulic valve actuator systems for Gazprom’s South Stream pipeline project. Fitted to 8” and 16” Class 2500 ball valves, the systems will provide remote on/off valve control and be Lloyds certified for operation down to -65°C.
Product Manager Mike Northwood, “This is the latest sizable order for Gazprom following the successful design and operation of the electro-hydraulic units we supplied a couple of years ago for Gazprom’s Bovanenkovo-Ukhta pipeline project. Our electro-hydraulic units are already Gazprom, Lloyds and GOST certified and have operated without any issues for the last two years in one of the harshest environments on the planet. We are pleased to note Gazprom’s continued confidence in our design and supply capabilities and look forward to working closely with PetrolValves and Gazprom to meet the challenging 20 week delivery requirement.”
