Learn how to set a scotch-yoke actuator’s end stops to achieve full valve opening and closing
In this video you will learn how to set the end stops on a spring-return fail-close scotch-yoke actuator to ensure that a ball valve can fully open and close.
The principles shown in the video are also applicable to spring-return fail-open and double-acting scotch-yoke actuators; however, please note that whatever type of scotch-yoke actuator is being used, its open end stop needs to be set first as its position will be needed after to set the actuator’s close end stop position.
