Paladon Systems to supply 167 self-contained hydraulic valve automation systems for the North Azadegan oilfield
To be fitted to 2” to 6” Class 900 to 2500 ball valves, Paladon Systems will be supplying self-contained hydraulic valve automation systems to provide valve fail close capability on loss of an electric command signal or in the event of a fire.

Discovered in 1999 and now covering over 900 square miles, the Azadegan oilfield is located 50 miles west of Ahvaz and is estimated to have a 42 billion barrel reserve. Iran is OPEC’s second largest producer with an output of about 3.7 million bpd and the third largest exporter of crude oil to China.
