Paladon Systems to provide self-contained electro-hydraulic systems for Panipat oil refinery
Following Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) approval of Paladon Systems’ latest self-contained electro-hydraulic system design in October last year, Paladon Systems has been awarded an order for the supply of 6 valve positioning systems to be used in Panipat oil refinery.
Fitted to 10” and 12” Class 600 globe valves, the systems will provide remote 4-20mA valve positioning control and fail the valves closed on loss the command signal, or fail last on loss of the 415VAC power supply.
The Panipat oil refinery was commissioned in 1998 and is one of South East Asia’s largest integrated petrochemical plants. The refinery provides petroleum products for Haryana and the entire North-West Region, including Punjab, J&K, Himachal, Chandigarh, Uttaranchal state and part of Rajasthan and Delhi.
