Paladon Americas is pleased to announce the hire of Gary Robbins in the position of Applications Engineer
Working closely with Paladon Systems product development team in the UK, Gary will be primarily responsible for designing electro-hydraulic systems for the US market’s specific requirements.
Starting in 1981 as an Applications Engineer for GH Bettis, Gary has remained in the valve automation industry ever since. He has worked for several actuator manufacturers and distributors as well as co-founding Automation Technology Inc. (ATI) in 1995. Gary has extensive valve automation experience with all types of linear and quarter-turn valve applications, including advanced satellite controlled and solar powered electro-hydraulic systems.
Gary, “I have been involved with electro-hydraulic engineering for many years but have still been impressed with some of the innovative features provided by Paladon Systems’ designs. I’m currently working on an electro-hydraulic system which we’ll be exhibiting (booth 115) at OTC next month and one which I think will create a lot of industry interest over the four days of the show.”
Paladon Americas Ed Casey, “In addition to providing high levels of customer support and short deliveries that lead the US market, one of our key strengths is the advanced technologies developed by Paladon Systems; particularly their electro-hydraulic systems. Gary has over 30 years’ experience with electro-hydraulic systems and so will be instrumental in developing and customising this technology for our customers’ specific requirements.”
Gary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology and his hobbies include disc golf and home renovation projects.
