After eighteen months of development, Paladon Systems ships the first of their new design gas-over-oil actuator system
Paladon Systems is proud to announce that the first of their redesigned gas-over-oil (also commonly referred to as, "gas/hydraulic") actuator systems have just passed rigorous customer testing and been shipped. Supplied for a compressor station in AGP’s Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline, the two systems were fitted to 4” ANSI 600 full bore Za.ve.ro ball valves. The control systems provide local and remote open and close valve control, as well as a remote ESD capability.
Inside Sales Engineer Silvia Bettinardi, “Although we are seeing many parts of the world changing from traditional Gas/Hydraulic Actuators to Hydraulic Power Units for gas transmission pipeline applications, there is still a huge market for the traditional technology. Our newly designed gas-over-oil actuator systems are fully manifolded, giving our customers a much more reliable and compact solution than those currently available from our competitors. In addition, the fully manifolded and modular design allows the systems to be extremely commercially competitive when compared to competing designs that employ significant amounts of external piping to connect the various control components. The modular design also allows our customers to make quick and inexpensive changes in the field to the control system logic by simply adding or changing the various control modules.”
