ADMA-OPCO Selects Paladon Systems for the Satah Al Razboot Field Development Project
To be fitted to 4” to 8” ANSI 600 and API 10,000 ball valves, Paladon Systems will be supplying a combination of double-acting and spring-return actuator systems. All systems are required to provide extremely fast valve opening times and are therefore fitted with quick exhaust valves and adjustable air dampers to allow for the valve stroking speeds to be slowed during the final degrees of valve opening. The double-acting systems are also fitted with volume tanks to provide sufficient pneumatic flow rates to ensure rapid valve operation and a valve fail position on loss of the ring main pneumatic supply.
Operated by ADMA-OPCO and located 120km of the coast of Abu Dhabi, the Satah Al Razboot (SARB) oilfield currently produces 100,000 BPD which is transferred to Zirku island via a subsea pipeline.
